What students say about Rosalie
Short and Sweet
These 45 minute sessions are primarily aimed at younger students, keeping it short and sweet; you can book them if you are 21 or over, but keep in mind these sessions fly by!
Getting into it
Our regular 60 minute session time. As with all sessions they are guided by your goals, and consists of a warm up, cool down and packed with vocal tools in between, working on technique through songs of your choice.
Delving Deeper
Delving deeper into everything Voice; with 90 minutes there is ample time to build up from breath connection and technical exercises into song performance. For when an hour just isn’t enough.

I am offering in person singing lessons in Dutch and English in my studio in Rotterdam Noord and online, globally. I have been working with young and adult voices for over 18 years, one to one and in groups, from complete beginners to professionals in The UK and The Netherlands.
Whether you are an established performer that needs a little help in a specific area, getting ready for auditions, want to level up your singing or performing, whether you just love singing around the house and want to start exploring your voice, or perhaps you are someone looking to improve their voice and presentations skills through the art of song or speech; I will help you move forward on your singing and voice journey.
Every lesson is tailored to your individual needs, in a safe and supportive environment, working with your authentic voice, giving you the tools and confidence to keep on building with what we have covered in lessons.
Some of the elements we cover in sessions:
breath work
SOVT (with and without straw)
vocal technique
vocal range
repertoire
songwriting
posture
accent/pronounciation
voice colour/tone
harmony
vocal health
connection
effective warm ups/cool downs
confidence (overcoming anxiety)
exploring the full range and colours of your voice and giving you authority on your vocal discovery and maintenance.

About Me
Vocal Coaching Journey…
A loooong time ago I graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, and a BA Acting from East 15 Acting School, London. I have completed multiple vocal courses and studied with top names in the vocal industry, gaining a lot of experience teaching, directing and coaching in different settings from one to ones, whole school singing assemblies, choirs and professional workshops. I have also completed Estill levels 1 & 2 with Anne Marie Speed and am keen on always doing further research and courses to keep on top of my own professional development.
In 2023 I have qualified as a Vocal Health First Aider through Vocal Health Education, which through its biopsychosocial model aligns perfectly with my holistic approach to teaching. I am a registered member of the Dutch Society of Singing Teachers, as well as the UK Singing for Health Network and the Dutch Voice Platform that facillitates intersectional relationships between ENT Specialists, Speach Therapists and Singing Teachers to ultimately improve Voice Care.
After gaining a certificate in Teaching Inclusively (level 4 CPD accredited), and completing a short course on Teaching Transgender Voices, I have recently embarked on a course in Vocal Anatomy.
