My Vocal Coaching Journey…
A loooong time ago I graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, and a BA Acting from East 15 Acting School, London. Whilst performing and creating music in the UK, I also started focussing on helping others in their vocal journey.
I completed multiple vocal teaching courses, one of which being Estill levels 1 & 2 with Anne Marie Speed and studied with top names in the vocal industry, gaining experience teaching, directing and coaching in different settings from one to ones, whole school singing assemblies, choirs, theatres and professional workshops.
In 2023 I qualified as a Vocal Health First Aider through Vocal Health Education, which through its bio-psycho-social model aligns perfectly with my holistic approach to teaching. I am a registered member of the Dutch Society of Singing Teachers, as well as the UK Singing for Health Network.
After gaining a certificate in Teaching Inclusively (level 4 CPD acc.), and completing a short course on Teaching Transgender Voices, I have recently embarked on a course in Vocal Anatomy. I am a keen explorer, always looking at further research and courses in areas that specifically benefit my clients and are connected to the field to keep on top of my own professional development.
There are an amazing group of professionals out there: on the off-chance we are not a perfect match; there will be a good fit for you out there. However, if you feel you are ready to explore the full range of your voice and expand your skills in a safe and fun environment - book your session to start now!
