Rosalie Genay is a creative human being exploring and working on several projects whilst living in Rotterdam with her pianist hb Barry Green and their two daughters. She performs as vocalist in different jazz band formations, teaches singing and works on people’s voices from her studio in Rotterdam. She also facilitates vocal workshops on location, writes essays and poetry and is always emerged in at least one course and a book or two, or three, or eight. She loves hiking in the mountains surrounded by trees.

In the UK she released 'In Between The Silence', a sensitive songwriting debut of original material with London based guitarist Francesco Lo Castro, after the acclaimed jazz album ‘Realms’, a personal take on the work of Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen and subsequent UK tour in 2014 with pianist Rebecca Nash. She has recorded ‘For The Love of Annie’, a jazz album with Scott Hamilton, Barry Green, Dave Green and Steve Brown soon to be released on Bandcamp.
